Intern Projects

Since its founding in 1947...

The Community Chest has been a volunteer-driven organization. Without our volunteers, our fundraising, special events, and community work simply would not be possible. Each year, hundreds of individuals give of their time and talents to help make a difference in our towns—and it shows!

Would you like to help the community?

Do you know of a local college student who would like to help out the community? The Community Chest has one-time and ongoing projects where we could use their assistance!

Flexible hours: 4-5 hours/week
Work virtually: unpaid/volunteer credit hours
Proficient with Excel, Word, research skills

Projects may include:

Local business research and outreach
Creation of social media content
Develop and research community building projects
