Jennifer joined the Concord Carlisle Foundation in 2017 with 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Prior to becoming Executive Director, Jennifer managed a philanthropy education program at the Foundation for MetroWest, providing grants management, nonprofit curriculum development, and instruction, while also advising nonprofit executives, staff, board, and volunteers. Following a BA from Hamilton College, Jennifer’s passion for community engagement and supporting others led her to dual master’s degrees in Social Work and Education from Boston University. She currently serves on the National Charity League board, as well as leadership at Trinity Church, and previously on the Thoreau PTG and Board Chair of the Maynard Community Chest. Jennifer lives in Concord with her husband, their two teenage children, and a few four-footed friends.

Sneha Harsh joined the Concord Carlisle Foundation in 2024, bringing over a decade of experience in program management and nonprofit leadership. Originally from Jharkhand, India, she holds a master’s degree in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from Harvard University, where she was named a Sustainability Fellow and Emerging Climate Leader. Sneha has been recognized as a 2024 BeVisioneer Fellow at Mercedes Benz for her work in sustainable development.

 

Her career spans leadership roles across India, Nepal, Japan, and the U.S., and she was honored with the ‘Public Service Award 2021’ for her contributions to the High School Leadership Program at the Ek Kadam Aur Foundation. Known for her ability to leverage storytelling as a powerful tool, Sneha excels at building strong donor relationships. Now living in Boston, she finds joy in exploring diverse culinary traditions, cherishes meaningful connections, and draws strength from the resilience embodied by sunflowers.

Jenny joined the Concord Carlisle Foundation in June of 2022. She grew up in Concord and was lucky enough to attend Alcott, Peabody, and CCHS. Jenny graduated from The College of the Holy Cross before working in healthcare innovation. In 2015, she moved back to Concord with her husband and three children. Jenny spent many years leading local Girl Scout troops and is a frequent PTG volunteer. She recently served on the Board of the Middlesex Chapter of National Charity League and continues to have a leadership role. Jenny is thrilled to be part of the Foundation team.

An active member of the Concord Carlisle community, Madelene joined the Concord Carlisle Foundation in 2022. She has lived in Concord for 30 years with her husband and has raised three sons who attended the Concord Carlisle schools. Madelene held leadership positions in the PTOs including treasurer positions at Milldam Nursery School and CCHS. She graduated from Boston University with a degree in communications and worked for many years in the marketing field. In 2017, Madelene returned to Boston University to earn a Master’s Certificate in Fundraising. She began her relationship with the Foundation as a freelance grant writer and is now excited to be a part of the Concord Carlisle Foundation team as the bookkeeper.

Officers and Executive Committee

Jeffrey Blue is the founder of Blue Dry Goods, a men’s clothing retailer in Concord center. Prior to launching his own business in 2008, Jeff held various general management and marketing roles at several leading technology and retail brands, including Lycos, Timberland and Reebok. Jeff is also an active volunteer in the community, particularly for organizations that benefit local youth. He has coached youth soccer and softball and just began his 14th season coaching volleyball at CCHS. Jeff has also served on the Carlisle Youth Commission and the Community Chest Allocations Committee. Jeff received an MBA from The Tuck School at Dartmouth and a BA from the University of California at Los Angeles. The proud father of three daughters, Jeff and his wife Marty live in Carlisle.

Krissy resides in Concord with her husband Chad and their three children and a dog named Churchill. Krissy went to school at Choate Rosemary Hall, the Georgetown School of Foreign Service and Boston College Law School. Following law school she clerked for the US District Court, District of Vermont followed by a year clerkship with Chief Justice Amestoy of the Vermont Supreme Court. She worked for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office as a Assistant District Attorney, before managing the Chelsea District Court office and moving to the Superior Court to work in the Family Protection Unit specializing in Child Abuse and Child Sexual Assault. In 2017, she opened her own law practice but is primarily hired by the State as a Public Defender through the Middlesex Defense Attorneys Association, of which she is a board member. Krissy has served on the Board of the Alcott PTG and volunteered at Tri Con Church. She and her daughter, who is now at UVM volunteered for six years with National Charity League. Krissy served on the Foundation’s Allocations Committee for two years before joining the Foundation’s Board of Directors in 2019, serving as Co-President in 2023-24 and now 2024-2025. Krissy’s favorite volunteer activity is farming at Gaining Ground.
 

Jim has lived in Concord since 2013 with his wife and two boys. Professionally he works as an investment advisor at a wealth management firm. He has over 20 years of experience in the investment industry with roles developing global macroeconomic outlooks, investment strategies, and customized portfolios for individuals & families, foundations, endowments, and charities. Jim earned an MBA from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and is a CFA charter holder. Jim has volunteered two years on the Allocations Committee and joined the Board in 2021. He now serves on the Finance Committee at the Foundation. He is also a volunteer with the Trails Committee in Concord and runs a 200-mile race annually with a group of 12 (and a team of 48) people each fall as a fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF).

Ally and her husband Tucker (a CCHS graduate) have lived with their 2 children and dog in Carlisle for 11 years. Ally served on the Board of Milldam Nursery School as treasurer for 4 years and currently serves on the Events Committe for the ThinkGive Project. She received her B.A. from Bates College in Maine in 2000. Prior to having children, Ally worked at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and Digitas, Inc. in Boston. She volunteers weekly at the Carlisle School Library and works at Clark Farm Market in Carlisle in her spare time. Ally was a member of the Allocations Committee for 3 years before joining the Board in 2022.

Board Members

Ben grew up in Concord and returned to live here in 2005. He attended Concord Academy and worked in the Development Office of the school for 18 years. Ben is the Director of Development for The Environmental League Of Massachusetts. He served on the board at Concord Children’s Center for six years and continued to volunteer for them in various capacities for several years. Ben worked on the 75th Anniversary Task Force for the Concord Carlisle Foundation and joined the board in 2023. Ben attended Connecticut College and lives with his wife and two kids on the campus of Concord Academy.

Kate joined the Board in 2024 and serves on the Allocations Committee. 

Chessie joined the Concord Carlisle Foundation’s Board of Directors in 2023 and serves on the Program Committee.

Prior to starting her family, Erika taught special education at the Carroll School. Now that her children are in elementary school, she is looking forward to giving back to the community through the Concord Carlisle Foundation! She is particularly excited about spreading the word about CCF to new families in town. Erika lives in Concord with her husband, Ben (a Concord native) and her three kids, Sam, Maya and Andrew.

Deepa Chungi moved to Carlisle with her family in 2018. Since joining the Carlisle community, she has been active in the Carlisle PTO, serving as president since 2020, and spearheading town fundraising events such as the Sixth Grade Spaghetti Supper and the Annual Softball Tournament and Family Day. More recently, she was the Community Fundraising and Public Outreach Coordinator for the Castle Playground Project, which was built by the community in September of 2022. Deepa is an editor and writer by trade and enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons and traveling with her friends. 

Since 2001, Tim is the founder and owner of Design & Co., Inc., a brand strategy and design agency. The firm works within a wide range of market sectors, including architecture, construction, real estate, life sciences, software technology, and not-fpr-profit organizations. Formally trained as an architect, Tim earned Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University in 1988 and a Master of Architecture from Yale University in 1996. Tim has lived in Carlisle since 2006 and, together with his wife and photographer Gigi de Manio, has raised three children within the Concord Carlisle public school system. Tim is a sailor, loves all things outdoors, and has a penchant for acquiring and restoring mid-century modern furniture from Carlisle’s legendary Swap Shed.

Carrie moved to Concord in 2014 where she resides with her husband, two daughters and dog. Professionally, Carrie has been working in the marketing field since graduating in 1995 from Bowdoin College in Maine. Carrie is active in the Concord community and has been a CCYS coach for many years as well as a member of the Alcott Elementary PTG, volunteering in numerous capacities with much of her focus on the METCO Family Friends program. She was also a Girl Scout troop leader for three years, organizing fundraising activities and educational programming. In addition to volunteer work in Concord, Carrie is on the Corporation of an all-girls camp, Fleur de Lis, in New Hampshire. Carrie joined the Concord Carlisle Foundation’s Allocations Committee in 2018 and has been passionate about Foundation’s mission ever since. She joined the Concord Carlisle Foundation Board of Directors in July 2019.

Adrienne joined the Board in 2024.

Mike and his family moved to Concord in 2021 and have loved joining this incredibly strong community. His professional experience has been as a leader in brand strategy, marketing and innovation with deep expertise in food and beverage. He is a member of the Cornerstone Initiative and the Marketing Committee.

Laura is a self-employed business owner with 14 years of experience running Colonial Bookkeeping & Tax, Inc., based in Concord, MA. As long-time Concord resident, Laura is deeply involved in the local community, actively supporting various non-profits and local small businesses. As a parent with a child in the Concord school system, Laura is committed to the well-being of the community. Outside of work, Laura enjoys skiing, hiking, painting, attempting to speak French and, embracing an active and creative lifestyle.

Elisabeth Sannicandro (Libby) grew up in Concord and happily returned to town in 2016. She has spent over 20 years working in investment management, most recently managing fixed income funds focused on opportunities in emerging markets. She lives with her husband and, sometimes, her three mostly grown children along with a very thoughtful greyhound. Libby has volunteered two years on the Allocations Committee and joined the Board in 2020. She now serves on the Finance Committee at the Concord Carlisle Foundation.

Lisa moved to Carlisle in 2021 with her husband, two kids and two dogs. Originally from upstate New York, she spent seven years living in Australia before relocating to Massachusetts in 2014 to pursue an MBA in Nonprofit Management at the Heller School for Social Policy & Management. Though she still feels “new” to town, she quickly became involved with CCF’s Allocations team. She loved learning about the impactful work local organizations were doing to address the unmet and often unseen needs in our community. After three years with Allocations, she joined the Board in 2024. Professionally, Lisa is a social sector consultant working at the intersection of social and financial justice, supporting people and systems in nonprofits, philanthropy, and local government. You can find her hiking Carlisle’s trails with her dogs, trying her hand at gardening (with mixed results!) or teaching indoor cycle classes at the Thoreau Club.
