***Please note: We will not be holding our annual Luncheon in the fall of 2022. Instead, look for us around town at other community events and Save the Date for our Celebration on April 29, 2023!***
On a lovely Wednesday afternoon in October 2021, 120 guests joined us outdoors under a tent at Nashawtuc Country Club for our annual Community Chest Luncheon, featuring a conversation on the Impact of the Pandemic on the Community.
Following a welcome by Jennifer Ubaldino, our esteemed panel discussed how food insecurity, local businesses, mental health, and education have been affected over the past 18 months and how our community has and can continue to come together to make a difference.
The panel included Jeanine Calabria of Open Table, Ben Elliott of Saltbox Farm & Kitchen, Deborah Garfield of The Eliot Center, Dr. Laurie Hunter the Superintendent of CPS & CCHS, and was moderated by Community Chest Board Member, Colette Stanzler.
Virtual guests were able to join us as well thanks to assistance from Minuteman Media Network.
We thank the following business supporters for making this event possible: Cambridge Savings Bank, Suzanne & Company, Open Door Education, and The Kim Patenaude & Rory Fivek Team at Barrett Sotheby’s.
